7 November 2019Private landlords and letting agents across west Cheshire are being invited to a Landlord Forum on 28 November in Ellesmere Port.
The Private Landlord Forum, supported by Cheshire West and Chester Council and the National Landlords Association, is at 3.30-6.30pm at the Civic Suite, Civic Hall, Civic Way.
It offers landlords the opportunity to network and visit exhibitor stands.
Lisa Harris, Director of Places Strategy, said: “As a Council we recognise the importance the private rented sector plays in helping to meet the housing needs of our residents. The Landlord Forum provides us with an ideal opportunity to engage with the sector and help promote its long term sustainability.
“For this Forum, landlords and agents will be able to hear how to invest in property using a pension as well as how to spot the signs that their tenant could be involved with a loan shark. There will also be the opportunity to hear first-hand from the National Landlords Association about any new and future planned legislation.”
Experts will be at exhibitor stands to discuss topics such as: landlord accreditation, empty homes, energy efficiency, welfare benefits and anti-social behaviour.
Robert Johnson from the National Landlords Association said: “The NLA is keen to work with Cheshire West and Chester Council to help improve housing standards across West Cheshire. The Landlord Forum is becoming one of the most popular and well attended landlord events across the region and is an ideal way for the NLA to provide face to face support to the sector.”
A workshop on ‘How to End a Tenancy Correctly’ will take place before the Landlord Forum at 1.30pm-3.30pm. To book your free place on the workshop, please see the contact details below, spaces are limited.
