Meet The Buyer Event - Chester Northgate And Ellesmere Port Hub

Suppliers and sub-contractors have been invited to a ‘Meet the Buyer’ event taking place at the Double Tree Chester on 26 February. The event is fully subscribed and will engage and inform local suppliers about the Chester Northgate and Ellesmere Port HUB Projects. 

Councillor Richard Beacham, Cabinet Member for Housing, Regeneration and Growth, said: “I’m delighted there has been such a good take up for this event which will be an excellent opportunity for local businesses to learn more about two major projects starting this spring. The event will let local suppliers and sub-contractors explore the opportunities within the projects and eliminate potential barriers to their involvement.” 

The agenda for the day is:
  1. Arrival 8am
  2. Introduction from the Chief Executive 8.30am
  3. Scheme presentation from the Project Manager- 8.35am
  4. Guests meet the Project team and stands 9am to 11am 
The Meet the Buyer event has been advertised and shared with local suppliers and sub-contractors via Eventbrite, the Council’s Let’s Talk Business website and the Chest. The event has been arranged by building contractor VINCI Construction in collaboration with Cheshire West and Chester Council and the Construction Industry Training Board.
